Shred
Shred is a new online source for music news and features.
In the longer term it will explore new ways to deliver
music online, as a conduit rather than an online label.
Editorially, it will predominantly feature new artists
and releases, a balance of the unbiased eye of a journalist
and the enthusiasm of a fan.
There are currently three kinds
of content in Shred: Longer features (800-1200 words)
that profile an artist in depth. Smaller features (500-
700) will provide a quick snapshot of an artist. And,
finally, we will incorporate reviews (300-500 words)
of new releases and other releases where applicable.
It will be informative, entertaining, unpretentious,
and we will never use the word "product" in
reference to a release.
